This one-word A/B test increased Coderwall’s organic traffic by 59%

There were over 20,000 pages of developer advice on Coderwall.
The target was to boost Google’s “organic” visits.

The analysis showed that the most popular content was expert advice accompanied by relevant examples.

So they divided the 20,000-page document in half:

Primary, it’s a one-of-a-kind.

Two, with one minor tweak to the original.
At the end of each title, they tacked on ” (Example)”.

There was a 59% increase in organic Google traffic after 13 weeks.
