How exactly did they pull this off?
They started by conducting a poll amongst locals. They identified a shared element in the collected input. It was the fact that anyone outside the United States would feel completely out of place using Pinterest. They figured out why it was the case. Pinterest’s sign-up process requires users to select one or more interest categories. And these were universally applicable themes.
That’s why they’ve started playing solely regionally relevant programming.
Consequently, signups increased repeat visitors to Pinterest by as much as 10%.
