CallApp saw a drop in reviews to 4.17 stars on Google Play, costing the company rankings and organic downloads.
After making one simple adjustment, their overall satisfaction rating shot up by 82%.
Some customers leave positive comments but rate it only 1 star, the data showed.
It turns out that not everyone knows that 5 stars is the highest possible score.

Initially, a popup window asked users to rate the app with the following text:
Name: Love Us!
If you like the app, please leave a review.
Cancel | Accept as CTAs
Then they rephrased it to say:
Enjoy using CallApp?
Please give us 5 stars so we can continue to improve CallApp.

The end result is a 40% increase in positive reviews.
Third, they changed their logo’s colour scheme from blue to yellow stars.
Positive feedback increased by 82% as a result.
