He made the choice to begin making and selling WordPress themes.
He had put in ten thousand dollars and six months, and he was ready to call it quits. Yet he did not.
With the aid of a few last-ditch experiments, he was able to reach his monthly income goal of $60,000.
A list follows:
He made a $3,000 purchase on Flippa.com of another WordPress themes website. Earnings per month averaged about $300 at that time. He modified the theme and tripled the monthly income from $300 to $900.
He then spent a few hundred dollars to acquire yet another free WordPress plugin and convert it into a freemium plugin. It led to an extra $1,500 in monthly revenue.
He then doubled and tripled the prices. The end result was a monthly income of $5,000, a significant increase.
Then he paid for the privilege of using another well-known design as the basis for his WordPress theme. Once again, he made it a freemium add-on. As a result, he is now making $20,000 per month.
He was able to multiply his revenue to sixty thousand dollars per month by implementing strategies like A/B testing, blogging, and reinvesting in marketing.
Rather than starting from scratch, it may be simpler to invest in something that already exists and then market and expand it.
