If you want your name to be recognised as a byword for expertise and news in your field, you should publish at least once a day on LinkedIn to keep your connections abreast of the newest industry articles you’ve read.

 

When it comes to social media, remember the 80/20 rule. Promote 20% product-focused content and 80% industry news or helpful material. News stories and blogs that your contacts would find interesting and/or informative are examples of this type of material. Twenty percent of your promoted content should be about your company, including product launches, case studies, and customer success stories. Aiming for a happy medium like this shows that you care about the success of others and commands more respect and trust from potential clients.
