When And Where Should You Post Content?

It’s not enough to write blog posts and then ignore your site. Get your material in front of people when and where they are actively seeking an answer to a problem or open to learning something new.

 

Use pre-scheduled tweets and Facebook updates to promote your blog postings to your network. One such useful medium is the email.

 

If you write a blog post in which you provide answers to seven questions, for instance, you may use that article as the basis for multiple short social media updates that all point back to the blog post in question, and then forward those updates to your email list’s subscribers.

 

Think on what will resonate with your audience in each medium, and give them advanced notice of when your pieces will go live on each channel.

 

Plan when to make each social media announcement so that the most relevant content is seen by the largest possible audience.
